3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

SEO is the process of optimizing websites or content so that they show up in search results in search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. —often referred to as "natural", "organic", or "earned" results. Search engines decide which websites to show in a search term based on specified keywords on the website and links that refer to the website. SEO has a lot to do with using the right keyphrases or keywords in the copy of a website or within the content you want to display in search and getting links to the website.

It is a form of Internet marketing which involves the promotion of websites by increasing their visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs) essentially through paid advertising. SEM may include search engine optimization (SEO), which rewrites content and site structure to achieve a higher ranking in SERPs to improve pay per click (PPC) listings.

5. Pay Per Click (PPC)

Pay-per-click (PPC) is an internet advertising model. It is used to direct traffic to websites in which an advertiser pays a publisher when the ad is clicked on a link to a website. 6. Affiliate Marketing (AM)

It is popular with bloggers and high-traffic website owners who make money from selling other people’s products to their audience.

7. Email Marketing (EM)

Email marketing is the act of sending or posting a commercial message, typically to a group of people, using email. It is one of the best converting marketing channels. By posting regular updates to email subscribers, you can build and nurture a bond. By providing value with email updates, you can build trust. Eventually, you will be able to turn a percentage of the audience into customers.

Email marketing is considerably more than buying an email list and bombarding them with the promotional messages or one-time advertising spot in someone else’s email newsletter.

The best results from email marketing will always be obtained with a list of subscribers you earned. Then your email list can quickly turn into the best digital marketing asset.

9. Mobile Advertising (MA)

Mobile advertising is a type of digital marketing advertising that appears on mobile devices such as smartphones that have wireless connections. As a subset of mobile marketing, mobile advertising can take place as text ads via SMS, or banner ads that appear embedded in the mobile website, in downloaded apps or mobile games. Mobile technology used by companies such as Facebook and Google tailor mobile advertisements based on an individual web browsing history, geographic location, and with data collected by shopping habits. Because mobile devices have smaller screens than laptops or computers, this form of digital advertising is usually optimized for the small screen by being concise.
